Baltimore has this problem, see? We're "the little brother" city. Or, at least, that's how the people associated with Charm City tend to look at our stature. But there's some evidence to these claims, credence that leads to The Baltimore Inferiority Complex.
Being snubbed for an NFL expansion team for years after the Colts left.
Infamously being told by then-NFL Commish Paul Taglibue to use the money to "build a museum" after a failed bid for an expansion team.
Being the constant underdog during the playoffs the year the Ravens won the Super Bowl, even prompting a well known analyst to say, post Super Bowl win, "I guess they're good."
And that's only a few examples related to sports. One sport, at that.
I'm soon to be joined by several other collaborators. And you'll get an idea of the mind of a Baltimore sports fan. The beleguered O's fan. The defensive (pun intended) Raven fan. The practically invisible Blast fan. And oh so much more.
There will be analysis. There will be satire. There will be ranting, raving, frothing at the mouth. There will be blood, and we will drink your milkshake.

I love milkshakes!
Wow, so the O's color scheme was NOT on purpose?! Remarkable!
As one of the few lady contributors (at this point) I'll chime in my color scheme ideas. After a quick Google Images search I found out that Baltimore does indeed have a flag and it is black and gold. Perhaps the Maryland Flag colors are good options, too.
A girly thought - we change the color scheme depending upon what sports season it is! :) In September we go Purple...?
Well, as you can see, I've made it a bit more "neutral." However, I've kept highlights and borders orange, and I fully intend to make them purple during the football season.
We've finally broken the glass ceiling with a woman contributing to a sports blog!
And I hope to gather a few more!
i'm tired of being called pittsburgh's dirty cousin
I hear you, Dan. Especially since Pittsburgh isn't exactly pristine.
